Tryouts are scheduled to take place at Sans Souci Tennis Center on Thursday January 26, 2023 at 3:00pm.  You are responsible for your own transportation there and we will be finished by 4:00pm.  All paperwork, payment of insurance, notary, and physical packet must be turned in prior if you plan on trying out.  Please read below information regarding the procedures and protocols.

MANDATORY:  If you are planning on trying out, you must have an EKG screening form which can be picked-up in Coach Rubinstein's office and turned into Coach Rubinstein or Coach Harris by 1/18/2023.

Tryouts, matches, and practice will take place at Sans Souci Tennis Center.  The address is 1795 Sans Souci Blvd, North Miami, Florida 33181.

Physical Packet, including the notary must be physically turned into the school to the school's athletic trainer Mr. Rothschild or school's athletic director Mr. Harris, as you can't scan and email this in.  You may though scan and email the three online course certificates to the athletic director Mr. Harris as the email below.  Insurance will be paid through the OPS system link above.  Everything must be turned in by January 19, 2023 or you can't play.  Please continue to read the below information.  Tentative schedule has also been posted under the "schedule" link.

MANDATORY: Your athletic physical packet, birth certificate (for new players), school insurance ($18.00 paid through the OPS system link above) and online concussion, heat illness and cardiac arrest courses (links to courses below) must be turned in by January 12, 2023 or YOU WILL NOT PLAY THIS YEAR!  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!  All Athletic Physical packets will be submitted to the Athletic Trainer (Justin).  Please make sure you complete the notary in the packet as well!  If you are home schooled, please turn your paperwork in as soon as possible, as it takes time to process with the Region and the FHSAA!  Home schooled paperwork information is below.  If you attend MAST Academy @ FIU, you must play for your home school where you would have normally attended.

NEW:  You may purchase 24-hour student-athlete insurance coverage for $71.00 in lieu of the Spring Coverage for $18.00. To participate, one must be chosen.

To Reiterate:  Athletic Physical packets will be submitted directly to the athletic trainer (Doc).  He is available on campus from 1:00pm - whenever.  If there is an athletic contest he is working on a specific day, bring the physical forms back the following day.  The deadline to have your paperwork in is January 19, 2023; No Exceptions!

Bring the signed Athletic Clearance Form to the athletic office (next to the cafeteria) to check eligibility and pay the athletic insurance.

HOME SCHOOLED STUDENTS:  You must complete forms (EL7 - Home Education Participation; EL7V -  Home Education Verification and EL9 - Home Education Student Academic Progress Report and GA4 -  Affidavit of Compliance with the Policies on Athletic Recruiting & Non-Traditional Student Participation) and have them in by December 19, 2023 with your transcripts or you cannot play.  These forms are found at the FHSAA website http://www.fhsaa.org/sports/tennis under the "For Students and Parents" link at the top of the page.  They must be turned into the school's Athletic Director (Mr. Harris) as soon as possible, along with the physical packet, birth certificate (for new players), payment of $18.00 for school insurance paid via the OPS system and completion of the online courses below (links below - create an account) as soon as possible.  There are no exceptions!  All Home Schooled information can be located at this link:  MDCPS Home Education.

GPA/ATTENDANCE:  You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and not have 10 absences or 20 tardies or more (excused or unexcused) to play.  There are no exceptions to this!

If you are an incoming senior and want to play college tennis, you must register on the NCAA Eligibility Center website and send in your college transcript to the address listed with a $75.00 fee.
